We can all breathe a sigh of relief. The space shuttle, Discovery,
made it back safely
right before Christmas. This mission put ISS construction and repair
back on track. But how long until the next NASA disaster stalls
progress again? The space shuttle program is far too bloated and
expensive to really continue effectively. By the time the ISS is
finished it will be obsolete. Wouldn't it be far better to contract
private companies (who can do it cheaper and more efficiently) to build the ISS?
